Summary. As the knowledge and tools at the interface of mathematics and biology advance, the education of undergraduates must develop in equal measure to prepare students for tackling 21st century biological problems. Speakers in this session will present on the latest trends and innovative techniques to engage students in synthesizing concepts of math and biology in the college classroom. Note that our presenters will span a diverse array of institutions, including a small liberal arts school, a large research university, a comprehensive state university and a community college.
