Location: Knoxville Convention Center - First convention center in Tennessee to be Green Certified.

Hosts: NIMBioS and The University of Tennessee

Theme: Mathematics and Biology: Interdisciplinary Connections and Living Systems

The 2012 Annual Meeting and associated research and education conference for The Society for Mathematical Biology will be held in Knoxville, Tennessee from July 25-28, 2012. The conference theme is Mathematics and Biology: Interdisciplinary Connections and Living Systems and the gathering is being hosted by the National Institute for Mathematical and Biological Synthesis (NIMBioS) and the University of Tennessee. The conference will be held at the Knoxville Convention Center and associated activities will be held at NIMBioS before and after the conference. Call for Minisymposium Proposals: proposal period is now closed. Acceptance decisions for minisymposium proposals will be made by February 13.

Call for Abstract Submission. The site is now open for abstract submission for minisymposia and contributed oral and poster presentations, with a deadline of March 30. Acceptance decisions for submitted abstracts will be made by April 13. Descriptive flyer
