Innovation at NIMBioS

Building upon our strengths in expanding opportunities for interdisciplinary science and education, NIMBioS has pioneered a number of new synergistic initiatives.

The National Institute for STEM Evaluation and Research is one of the main go-to groups in the United States providing evaluation planning and assistance to the science, technology, engineering and mathematics sectors, including academic communities, not-for-profit organizations, and government entities.

image. The The Spatial Analysis Lab offers state-of-the-art spatial analysis capabilities to researchers interested in understanding biological, geographic, and socio-economic processes. SAL enables cross-disciplinary research for those in academia, government and industry who are engaged in biogeographical modeling, spatial statistics, data acquisition and mapping.

The Center for the Dynamics of Social Complexity promotes connections and collaborations between different researchers from diverse disciplines, focusing on various aspects and levels of human social behavior. DySoC uses theoretical and empirical methods at the interface of mathematical, biological, social, and computational sciences. Coming Soon!
