My name is Clemente Aguilar and I love science. I am a postdoctoral fellow at the National Institute for Mathematical and Biological Synthesis (NIMBioS) and my way to understand biological phenomena is by mixing knowledge from the areas of biology, statistics, and computer programming. In the past I have worked in the development of computational methods for mass spectrometry data analysis, particularly in the identification of glycolipids and proteins. Most recently I have become interested in anything related with the immune system; specifically my current research is focused on developing efficient algorithms for epitope prediction.
