NIMBioS Working Groups
NIMBioS is currently not accepting new Working Group requests.
Working Groups are chosen to focus on major well-defined scientific questions at the interface between biology and mathematics that require insights from diverse researchers, meeting up to 3 times over a 2-year period. Participation is by invitation only. Requests for NIMBioS support for working groups have been considered twice per year; however, new requests are currently not being accepted. All areas of research at the interface of biology and mathematics have been considered, but we have been especially interested in activities expanding beyond the areas of research supported to date. Potential organizers of activities in areas of molecular biology, cell biology, network biology, immunology and systems biology have been particularly encouraged to submit requests for support of Working Groups or Investigative Workshops.
