More than one hundred undergraduates from around the country gathered Oct. 21-22 to present their research at the third annual Undergraduate Research Conference at the Interface of Mathematics and Biology. In addition to talks and posters, participants played a fun networking game using their name tags (pictured above) and listened to a panel discussion on careers. A total of 110 participants attended from 42 institutions in 20 states and Puerto Rico and Canada. Dr. J. Carl Panetta, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, gave the plenary talk. Click here for more information and more photos. A book of abstracts is also available.
