NIMBioS Video: Interview with Dr. Joan Roughgarden
NIMBioS interviewed one of the world's most influential theoretical ecologists, Dr. Joan Roughgarden, about the value of mathematical biology. Dr. Roughgarden co-organized a NIMBioS Working Group on Function and Evolution, which met June 10-12, 2009. The group is modeling the dynamics of biological systems, and will be working over the next two years toward integrating the functional and evolutionary levels into a unified framework.
