Dates: January 2019 – June 30, 2019
Project Title: Computational foundations in mathematical biology
Kellen Myers (Ph.D. Mathematics, Rutgers University, 2015) is a postdoctoral fellow in Nina Fefferman's research group working on projects characterizing the impact of uncertainty in applied bio-mathematical models; exploring coupled dynamics between individual beliefs/behaviors and infectious disease epidemics in social networks; and extending methods in computational discrete mathematics and number theory towards applications in mathematical biology.
After completing his fellowship, Dr. Myers accepted a position as an assistant professor of mathematics at Tusculum Univ.
