Undergraduate Research Conference at the Interface of Biology and Mathematics

The conference begins at 1:30 pm Friday, Nov. 19, and ends at 4:30 pm Saturday, Nov. 20.

Location: University of Tennessee Conference Center - Knoxville, TN

Objectives: The second annual undergraduate research conference will provide opportunities for undergraduates to present their research at the interface of biology and mathematics. Student talks and posters will be featured as well as a panel discussion on career opportunities.

Plenary speaker: Abdul-Aziz Yakubu, Professor and Chair of the Department of Mathematics, Howard University.

Featured speaker: Jory Weintraub, Assistant Director Education and Outreach, National Evolutionary Synthesis Center

Faculty and students are invited to attend. Middle and high school teachers are also invited to attend.
